Accuracies range from 40% to 93% for the classes (accuracies were assessed on P41R28 and P41R29 separately). The overall accuracy was 68% for P41R28 and 76% for P41R29. The SALSELZ grid was created using a merge of the P41R29Z and P41R28Z grids. Please see the p41r28z.htm and p41r29z.htm metadata files for more information on how the individual scene region grids were created.

Makedem: extracted a digital elevation model (DEM) from the WSAL dem database for use during labeling for each region grid.
Makehydrography: extracted a hydrography coverage from the WSAL hydrography database for use during labeling for each region grid.
Buildvat: built an Arc/Info value attribute table (VAT) to hold all items (fields) for which descriptive data could be developed for each region for both region grids. Filled in VALUE, COUNT, LINK, HECTARES, PERIMETER, TM1, TM2, TM3, TM4, TM5, TM6, TM7, MNDVI, ELE, SLP, ASP, and SLPASP fields.
